In a day and age where eating seasonally is somewhat of a rebellion to modern consumption, choosing what goes on your plate and when has a lot of weight in terms of your health and the health of the planet. Not only are in season foods more nutrient dense and cheaper, they also minimise the resources needed to transport and store foods!
